Crystals and their properties have always fascinated humankind. They are nature's architecture – precise, reflective, timeless.

For this light sculpture, a transparent acrylic glass body crystallizes in a salt solution over several days. This creates a fine, reflective layer of salt crystals that coats the surface.

This layer captures light with a soft brilliance – reminiscent of ice or glass, yet entirely made of salt. When illuminated from within, the depth and light-scattering properties of the crystals become visible. In daylight, the surface also begins to subtly sparkle through reflections.

Each piece is handmade and unique. Slight variations in crystal structure, color intensity, and shape are part of the natural creation process.
